The ServSafe food safety program provides high-quality food safety education and training materials for the restaurant and foodservice industry. VRLTA is proud to partner with the NRA to provide ServSafe food safety training courses and certification exams through preferred instructors/organizations (for Manager) and online (for other courses). VRLTA has certified thousands of foodservice managers in ServSafe's food safety protocols and procedures, and our preferred vendors offer classes throughout Virginia.
ServSafe Food Manager
Updated with the 2022 FDA Food Code changes, the ServSafe Manager Online Course is ideal for individuals who wish to prepare for and take the ServSafe Manager Exam. This interactive course has been designed using the latest techniques in learning theory, to deliver current food safety information, in a fun and easy-to-use format. The course covers critical principles including: personal hygiene, cross contamination, time and temperature, cleaning and sanitizing, and more.
