The Virginia Restaurant, Lodging, and Travel Association's Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, organized to support VRLTA's efforts to strengthen and expand hospitality education for students in the Commonwealth of Virginia and to offer scholarships to high school and college students studying in hospitality and culinary programs.
In addition, during the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Foundation is supporting businesses and individuals in the hospitality industry with fundraising efforts through the Virginia Restaurant & Hospitality Relief Fund.
What does your donation do? It may help fund a scholarship to a first-generation college student who wants to study hospitality in college. It might help defray costs for the Virginia ProStart Invitational winners as they travel to the national competition. It could support a teacher using the ProStart curriculum in his or her high school classroom. Or, it could underwrite training for educators or students to further their skills. Whatever it's used for, trust that it will be put to good use!
