​Our association understands the battles that our business owners face in Virginia, and an ever-changing political landscape doesn’t always bode well for predictability for our members. That’s why we aggressively fight every day to keep your interests in front of each and every legislator.

• Sharing your story with elected officials to help them understand how the policy they create affects hospitality- and tourism-related businesses.

VRLTA is the voice of the hospitality and tourism industries in Virginia, but even though our Government Affairs team works tirelessly to advocate on your behalf, we still need your help.

• Lawmakers want to hear feedback directly from their constituents to help craft policy that reflects the needs of the community they represent.
• They need you to educate them on what it takes to operate a hospitality- or tourism-related business and the needs of the industries.
• They need to see that their decisions impact real people who are struggling every day to keep up with the ever-growing list of mandates, regulations, and pressures that impact hospitality and tourism businesses.

Grassroots efforts within our association are critical to maintaining our success – and a great way to get involved is donating to the VRLTA PAC. From small independently owned business to corporations to simply those who share our values and beliefs, the VRLTA PAC is dependent on all our members to help us reach our fundraising goals.
