Labor & Employment Law Corner/Consultation Hotline:

VRLTA is proud to announce a new feature and benefit to our members, intended to assist you with your questions and concerns surrounding employment law. Long-time VRLTA contributor Karen Elliott (Managing Partner of national labor and employment law firm FordHarrison’s Richmond office), will author a quarterly blog post focusing on common day-to-day issues faced by employers like you. Posts will address topics like wage/hour, harassment, labor unions, and fostering and maintaining positive employer/employee relations.

Additionally, Karen has agreed to provide limited consultations to members who have basic questions regarding wage and hour/employment law. Members are invited to call Karen at (804) 816-4002 as needed to schedule brief discussions (5-10 minutes) that may help shed some light on the often confusing issues. This benefit is available to VRLTA members only and is intended to keep you current on developments in the law or provide generalized information on the law.
